KP Hormis Birth Centenary Celebrations – Commencement Program Held at Mookkannur on 17th October 2016

The year-long Birth Centenary Celebrations of Late K P Hormis, Founder of Federal Bank commenced with a grand inaugural function held at Mookkannoor on 17th October 2016. Shri. Roji M John M LA inaugurated the programme. Rev. Fr. Joseph Karumathy, vicar, St. Mary’s Forane Church Mookkannor, Smt. Molly Varghese, Grama Panchayath President, Federal Bank Executives like Ms. Shalini Warrier, Chief Operating Officer, Shri. K I Varghese, Chief General Manager, Shri. Mohanachandran K R, Chief General Manager, Shri. Thampy Kurian, General Manager & Head- HR, Shri. Sunny N V, Sr. Vice President, Shri. Raju Hormis, CSR head and Son of Late K P Hormis, Shri. KP Hormis Birth Centenary Celebrations - Held at Aluva on 18th October 2017

A grand public program was organised as part of the Birth Centenary celebration of the visionary Founder of Federal Bank late K P Hormis, on 18th October 2017 at Mahatma Gandhi Town Hall, Aluva, the citadel of Federal Bank. The hall was jam-packed with Federals with esteemed dignitaries and a large number of people from various walks of life. Chief Guest of the day Shri. Kadannappalli Ramachandran, Minister for Ports, Museums, Archaeology and Archives of Kerala inaugurated the program. Former Supreme Court Judge Justice Cyriac Joseph, Shri. Anwar Sadath MLA, Shri. Roji M John M LA, Renowned Writer and Former Chairman of South Indian Bank Shri Sethu, Federal Bank Chief Operating Officer Ms. Shalini Warrier and other distinguished Guests of Honour addressed the gathering.

KP Hormis Birth Centenary Celebrations - Program Held at Mookkannoor on 23rd October 2017

The year-long birth centenary celebrations of Federal Bank Founder late K P Hormis was concluded on a grand note at Mookkannur, his birthplace in the presence of a massive audience including Federals and the people of the locality. As part of the programme, many development projects like digitalization of Mookkannur village, providing houses to the homeless, walkathon, other sports and cultural programs were conducted under the leadership of Federal Bank. Bank also came forward to announce the adoption of the Village providing sustainable developmental and environmental projects.

Padma Vibhushan E. Sreedharan delivered the keynote address at the closing ceremony held at Sacred Heart High School Mookkannur. Addressing the gathering Federal Bank MD & CEO Shyam Srinivasan told that the bank is always committed to carry forward the values and social responsibility espoused by KP Hormis, the founder of the Bank. Bank Director Shri. C. Balagopal, Executive Director & CFO Shri. Ashutosh Khajuria, Bank’s CSR Head and son of Late K P Hormis, Shri. Raju Hormis, Grama Panchayat President Smt. Molly Varghese, Sacred Heart Public High School Administrator Brother Varghese Manjali, Bank Network Head Shri. Jose V. Joseph and other esteemed dignitaries spoke on the occasion

Shri. Thomas MA and Smt. Kochurani Thomas were given the keys of the newly constructed houses included in the Federal Bank's CSR project at the ceremony. A wide range of cultural programs were also presented as part of the Birth centenary program.
